Map Streaming

On a PC, Map Streaming can be turned on or off in Settings->My Account

In macOS, Map Streaming can be turned on or off in Preferences->My Account

On iOS and Android, you have two options inside Settings->Data:

You can enable or disable map streaming, and you can further restrict map streaming to wifi if you wish. This allows you to avoid using up your cellular data allowance which is often metered.
